2025 Fudin Award announced

Michael Chandler Receives 2025 Fudin Award for Pain and Palliative Mentorship

Dr. Chandler is director of the PGY2 Pain Management and Palliative Care Pharmacy Residency program at Central Arkansas Veterans Health Care (CAVHS). He joined CAVHS in 1997 and started the residency program in 2011. He also established a pharmacy pain management eConsult service to collaborate with primary care on complex chronic pain cases. That service has since expanded to include collaboration with physical medicine and rehab (PMR) services to offer interdisciplinary pain management. Read more about Dr. Chandler here.

2025 Video Competition Winner

Our 2025 Foundation Video Competition winner is Emma Roehm! Emma is a PharmD Candidate (Class of 2026) with the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of California, San Diego. The SPPCP Foundation was launched in 2022 as the philanthropic arm of the Society of Pain and Palliative Care Pharmacists.  Our first award was conferred on Jeffrey Fudin, PharmD in May of 2022 and was named in his honor.
