About Dr. Fudin

Jeffrey Fudin, PharmD, FCCP, FASHP, FFSMB, served as a clinical pharmacy specialist in pain management at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, New York where he also directed and founded the PGY2 Pain Management and Palliative Care Pharmacy Residency. Dr. Fudin was a founding member and inaugural Trustee for the Society of Pain and Palliative Care Pharmacists (SPPCP). Dr. Fudin was a staunch advocate for patients with chronic pain and an educator to providers for over four decades. He was best known and loved for his dedication to his mentees and thus fitting that the SPPCP Foundation’s Mentorship Award is named in his honor.

Written and reviewed by pain experts and leaders in the field, the digital publication, now merged into MedCentral (www.medcentral.com/pain) helps clinicians navigate the evolving landscape of pain management, from the latest research in assessment to novel approaches in care to bring about the best long-term outcomes for individual patients. We are grateful for HealthCentral Corporation’s sponsorship of Dr. Fudin's named award.
